Welcome to my blog! Whether you are here because you have recently seen me in the BBC's "Sherlock", because you are a fan of my earlier appearances in episodes of "Dr Who" or you recall my earlier work, going as far back as such classics of British cinema as "Carry on Screaming", I am grateful that you have taken the time to seek me out.
I've been a long time in the business and there is no doubt that at some stage I will have appeared on your cinema or television screens though, as with so many of my fellow supporting artists, you may not have noticed me at the time. It's a curious life for us 'extras', and in many ways our work goes against the natural instinct of the actor: keeping the plot moving without being noticed.
Of course, it's not all TV glamour - like everyone else I have to fill in between the big parts, so I'm often to be seen doing a bit of modelling and promotional work between jobs. Keep an eye out next time you are in the High Street, I may be standing right next to you!
When I'm not working, I like to keep busy and interested in the arts and current affairs, so I find the internet a boon. Despite my increasing years, I am fascinated by the world of Twitter (@FishguardHS) and the 'blogosphere'. At the moment I am particularly enjoying reading many of the various internet theories which have sprung up around the final episode of "Sherlock" series two and I can recommend http://shadwellsblog.blogspot.com/ in particular.
That's all for now. Until next time!
